-Steve Weddle, recently retired Stanley Vice President and General Counsel talking to lawyers representing 120 claimants as he proposed hiring them away from MAC Tools distributor litigation in 1993. The Oregon Supreme Court disciplinary board suspended two lawyers for their unethical collaboration with Uncle Stanley.


Again, we will not agree to be retained by Mac/Stanley nor will we even discuss such a topic, nor the topic of possible proceedures relating to our representation of future clients until such time as the releases are signed and the money distibuted"

Ethical Lawyer T. Wagner, in a written letter to Mac Tools lawyer Sue Richards after she again tried to hire away distributors lawyers and retain them for Mac.
